Roelof Helweg was a 'schepwerker' (spoon maker), specializing in cutlery. His workshop was located in the Munnikestraat. The spoon is hallmarked with the first standard mark, Amsterdam city mark, year letter D for 1788 and the maker's mark RH. The spoon features Amsterdam rococo style engraving. In good condition. Weight: 60. 4 grams. Length: 21 cm.
